4 x 50's In A Week, 28th Sep

Lee Measors party of 3 had a cracking week on Boux this month with 4 fifties to 54lb, 7 forties and 13 others between 20-39lb. Great photos too!

Angling Lines spend a week at Boux, 3rd Sep

This video documents a carp fishing trip to Boux made by three of the Angling Lines team - David Keep, Jim Kelly and Paul Cooper. It ended with a total result of 26 carp including 4 x 40's.

We caught some of this action on film and you can see the highlights below;

Patience is a Virtue, 15th Aug

Angling Lines field testers Paul Cooper and Jim Kelly joined two of us from the Angling Lines office on a week's fishing trip to one of our personal favourite big fish waters, Boux.

Here's Paul's article from the trip...

'Sometimes you can take your fishing ability for granted, making your expectations too unrealistic for your own good. This visit to Boux in August 2014 was a typical example.

I would not normally have a particular area of lake as my target, but having previous knowledge of Boux, I realised that I would struggle to fish on the wood bank due to my recent knee operation. So my camping area for the week was going to be on the un-shaded dam wall, not the best position on Boux in August, but with easy access to the water and soft ground to kneel on, I had little choice. Jim decided to join me on the dam to assist me in case I got into any difficulty and so that we could leave the wood bank to Dave and Heather Keep who were due to arrive on Sunday...'

New Lake Record - The Pictures, 12th May

Gary Western had a prolific week at Boux this month, culminating in setting the new lake record at 54lb 10oz. Quality fishing & cracking pictures too, nice one Gary!

We also had another 50lb 8oz and another 47lb 11oz mirror, and commons of 45lb 12oz, 45lb, 44lb 4oz and 41lb 4oz. In total we had 41 fish weighing 1387 pounds;
