Details of your catches:
Fishing was hard with the storms and high winds, verry cold and windy. But we still had 21 fish up to 50 pounds with a 42 mirror too. The fish are by far the hardest fighting fish I ever had in France. Boux has some real lumps in and we have had 4 50's on our two trips here now. The cray fish were no problem with the cold, we never used no mesh on boilies pop ups and home made cells. We fished on 2 far bank and close margins on dam wall. Fish came at day time early morning few at night. Looking forward to next year thanx to angling lines never let us down.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Cell home made white boiles blow back rigs choddy rigs white strawberry pop ups
Were the facilities what you expected?
Nice hot shower, floors a bit slippy need a mat on floor I done the splits one day that slippy hahahha. Cabins far away but wot can you do I only had one shower anyway, I stunk like a skunk. Phillipe the balliff is a nice man, let's ye get on with ye fishing, only seen him once.
Were you happy with them?

Boux is by far best lake we have been only had a few but we know we will hit it right next time we go. We all love it there, fish are in mint condition.

Were you happy with them?
Looked a bit tired
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes it's a lovely lake with some great fish as we fished it around 8yr ago and as always been in our thoughts to return
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes
General Comments:
Lovely place,it's a long drive but worth it,however the crays were an absolute nightmere and we did not envisage them to be so bad to the extent we left after 2 days as we didn't go equipped for them.

General Comments:
Boux is a Great Lake for a social as well as a fishing holiday, there are hot spots to fish though mainly in the middle part of the lake where it is only excess able from one of the two banks

Details of your catches:
Second trip to Boux provided us with 21 fish comprised of 5 x 20s, 15 x 30s and one scraper 40. Much harder fishing than last year in cooler weather. Crays less of a problem than last year too although we still had a couple of baits munched and two bite-offs attributable to the crays chewing through the line between the lead and backlead. They truly are a menace and were seen clinging to the line above the lead a few times during the retrieve.
Although the fish were in generally good condition, a few had damaged mouths which wasn't the case last year.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Most approaches caught with cell/maize and plastic accounting for captures.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes. Good facilities even if they are a little way away from the lake.
Were you happy with them?
Yes.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes. Great service from Angling Lines as always
General Comments:
Lovely lake, shame about the crayfish.
Respect to the anglers on there the week before who 'rinsed it' with 75 fish between them!
