General Comments:
Boux is a Great Lake for a social as well as a fishing holiday, there are hot spots to fish though mainly in the middle part of the lake where it is only excess able from one of the two banks

Details of your catches:
Second trip to Boux provided us with 21 fish comprised of 5 x 20s, 15 x 30s and one scraper 40. Much harder fishing than last year in cooler weather. Crays less of a problem than last year too although we still had a couple of baits munched and two bite-offs attributable to the crays chewing through the line between the lead and backlead. They truly are a menace and were seen clinging to the line above the lead a few times during the retrieve. Although the fish were in generally good condition, a few had damaged mouths which wasn't the case last year.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Most approaches caught with cell/maize and plastic accounting for captures.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes. Good facilities even if they are a little way away from the lake.
Were you happy with them?
Yes.

Yes. Great service from Angling Lines as always
General Comments:
Lovely lake, shame about the crayfish. Respect to the anglers on there the week before who 'rinsed it' with 75 fish between them!

A great weeks fishing. Having been to Boux before we knew what we where getting, a really good fishing venue, but with little in the way of facilities. The fishing at times was made difficult as the cray fish were very active and were cutting the lines at the back leads, leaving baited lines in the water for fish to pick up. This also created problems as there was fish trailing lines, luckily for the fish all our lines and more were all retreaved with big tangles in the lines. As for the fish I had a total of 45 fish to 43.12 with 4 being over 40 and an average over 33lb .Steve Young ended the week with 21 fish to 47.06 with 5 being over 40 and Pam who ended with 5 fish to 39.08.

General Comments:
i would definitely recommend boux lake to any carp angler looking to fish a good lake in france a beautiful lake with lovely big hard fighting fish cant wait to fish it again my only complaint is that the crayfish are a bit of a headache cost us 20 odd fish between the group from snap offs due to them eating through our lines would recommend anyone fishing the lake in august when there in extra savage mode to be prepared
