Thomas was the best in telling us where to fish, what depth and what bait to use.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities was great, all looked new, showers and toilets, gas hob and microwave was available with plenty of charging points English points as well as French also hot running water.

Were you happy with them?

Could not ask for better facilities.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

I would recommend this to other anglers as it's a great place, unfortunately the fish gods were not kind to us on this particular week but that's fishing.

This is the third time I have used Angling Lines and would use them again as they provide a fantastic service with superb venues.

Unfortunately nothing seemed to work.

More than we expected. They were probably the best I have encountered. The social area was brilliant, it made the week.

Absolutely.

General Comments:

Although we did not meet Thomas he txt me every day to see if we were okay and did his best to ensure that we caught. We had a problem with the generator the first evening which was resolved within an hour. Thomas’s father visited regularly to check the generator and if there were any problems. He also brought us some eggs and wine. Good man.

Ye everything was good, really good set up.

Tom is a great host, worth having a look at his pellets and other bait. We stocked to come home.

Details of your catches:

Total of 3 anglers fishing for the week. The fishing was slow. Tried various tactics but they just didn’t seem to be feeding. I managed to get two out. A common at 29lb and a mirror at 43lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Both were caught on cell pop ups with pineapple goo over a mix of the owners particle, pellet and boilies

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities were perfect, nice clean toilet and shower, large fridge for food, chest freezer for bait and ice cream, cooker, microwave and sink all under a large covered area.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, absolutely faultless.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

yes 100%. Although the fishing was slow, I think we were just a bit unlucky with the conditions and the fish not feeding.

Yes I’ve used Angling Lines multiple times. Always a great service

General Comments:

Thomas the lake owner is a top bloke. He went well above and beyond to assist us with anything he could. Offering advice, bait, tactics. He’s a passionate carp angler and it shows. I’m looking forward to revisiting, perhaps a bit earlier in the season
