Snowman rig presented at the bottom of the marginal drop off fished over lake pellets and particle and halved boilies

Basic good clean facilities with access to cooking hob, fridge and freezer.
Charging points in lodge which will be enhanced once the solar equipment has been installed

General Comments:

Thomas greeted us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed, I was impressed that he spared the time to help Jerry out with his bait boat enabling him to have an enjoyable week

Caught 20+ carp between us both, 3 40’s biggest 46lb.

We both caught on single 12mm white cell pop ups on ronnie rigs.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities were fantastic, all cooking equipment, gas hob, microwave, toaster, fridge and freezer. The shower and toilet were very clean and great to use. Electric to charge phones and bait boat batteries.

Very happy with all.

I would definitely recommend. Everything you need with a venue.

Very happy with Angling lines as used a few times now and it was very smooth and organised.

General Comments:

Thomas the owner is an amazing guy. He guides you and helps you with information on the best tactics, where to fish. He is a wealth of information, he is in call 24 hours a day.

Details of your catches:

A difficult week in really tough conditions, a heatwave with temperatures of mid 40’s all week.
Night time was bite time, 16 fish between the group with all anglers catching

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Undoubtedly listening to the lake owner Thomas, majority of the fish caught from the far margin, fish meal boilies proving most effective

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes and better than expected, clean and tidy, great large social area, drive and survive facilities were great with a large supermarket within 10 minutes drive

Were you happy with them?

Yes, clean and tidy, adequate cooking facilities for a drive and survive with kettle, toaster, microwave and 4 ring hob

Most definitely, we will definitely return

Despite the tough conditions, a most enjoyable social week. Thomas was on hand for any issues without being over intrusive, listening to his knowledge and advice was invaluable
