Hard weeks fishing but we all enjoyed it

Best tactic little and often, tried heavy baiting but no response,

Were the facilities what you expected?

The log cabin was bigger than expected and had everything you need, 2 single beds, electric sockets, fridge with small freezer, big light, and shelving to put stuff on really thought out.

Were you happy with them?

Absolutely

Yes as nearer to Calais than we normally travel so made it a lot more enjoyable

Yes always great no issues.

General Comments:

Bruno was very friendly and left us to it, but on hand if needed.

Weather was very hot for most of the week and last few days we had thunderstorms and rain. We fished cabin 1 and the fish seemed active in front of us, started the first few days using particle and boilie but after that was using boilie and pellet mix. Between us we had 28 bites landing 25, we were catching steady all week and set a target of 20 fish, but also a personal target of getting my nephew a 30lb carp which happened to come on our last night and was the last fish of our trip with him landing a 34lb common. Biggest I had was a 35lb common

General Comments:

This was my 4th visit to Deux Iles and my nephew Jacob joined me on this trip for his first ever fishing trip to France.
Venue was superb as always and Bruno was always on hand if you needed him, had no issues at all with the crays.
