Great place, already booked for next year

Details of your catches:

Tough week, only 2 fish out from our cabin (2), 1 each from me and my mate. 33lb 7oz and 30lb on the nose. Fish just didn’t want to feed, tried various tactics just couldn’t manage any more since Monday when both of us had our fish. Both had 1 more run throughout the week but both times nothing on when picking the rod up.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I caught on a squid & orange wafted over a bed of matching different sized boilies, My mate caught on a Live System match the hatch snowman fished towards a show with approx 20 boilies catapulted over the top. Used Bruno’s particle mix following success with it last year but no fish taken on any rod that we fished this over on this occasion.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes we have been before so as expected and just what you need for a weeks fishing in comfort.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, shower is hot and powerful, and has everything you need.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes as we have been twice, I would choose to go at a different date though, as we have fished last week of August 2024, and had 9 fish out between us. Was hoping for a better tally this time with it not being so hot but unfortunately fish switched off feeding and we both struggled to get them going no matter what we did.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes absolutely, we find angling lines a breeze and it’s very straight forward.

General Comments:

Tough week, but that’s fishing. Bruno is a top host and tries his best to get it going for you with tips and ideas. Already looking at giving his other lake Seigneurie a go following the past 2 years fishing Deux Iles
