Deux Iles Facilities
Facilities at Deux Iles include a toilet and shower block with two hot showers. Equipped with full electric and mains water supply, making the water safe to drink. There is also a shared kitchen space with large fridge, freezer for bait, pot washing area, microwave and toaster.
When the lake is booked exclusively no other bookings for river fishing will be taken. When the lake is booked on a non exclusive basis the owner reserves the right to have up to 2 anglers fishing on the river and they will also share use of the main shower and toilet facilities on the lake.
Accommodation:
On each of the islands there is a wooden cabin for anglers to sleep in if they wish (you are welcome to bivvy up too if you'd prefer). These are of simple design but have lighting, a small fridge for the essentials and two electric sockets to enable charging of phones, baitboats, dvd players etc. You need to bring your own adapters (and extension cord if required).
There are two single beds in each cabin, although anglers are asked to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows if you wish to use these. You are of course also welcome to bivvy up. There is also a small breakfast bar at the main window overlooking the lake.
You will find a small BBQ on each island for your use.
Wi-Fi is an optional extra and costs 10 euros per cabin for the week.
The lake supply Avid Carp unhooking mats and weigh slings but not landing nets (minimum of 42" arms required).
Because of the close distance of the cabin to the lakeside, it is possible to sleep within the cabin whilst keeping your rods out.
General:
There’s plenty to interest non-anglers in the local area including the beautiful French town of Pacy sur Eure within 6km. Known locally as the “Town of Flowers”, Pacy sits in its own micro-climate, enjoying plenty of sunshine and little rain.
This town has a sleepy and friendly atmosphere with excellent restaurants & bars, 4 supermarkets and a launderette. A little further afield the motorway network puts several major cities within easy reach - Paris (60km), Rouen (40km) and Giverny (Monet’s Garden) 20km away.
