Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Yellow - Fake corn or bottom baits tipped with yellow. Fished a rod length off the far margin at the bottom of the shelf, not too close as the fish weren’t interested in feeding in the shallow water. Bruno’s particle and pellets, plus nutty sweet boillies spread over each a spot morning and night. All spots we fished produced fish.

3rd time at Deux Iles, so knew exactly what to expect. Facilities were clean as always, perfect for a comfortable weeks fishing.

General Comments:

Another fantastic week in France, Deux Iles is set in a stunning peaceful location. Perfect for a recent weeks fishing, with a small number of anglers.
There’s some hard fighting young carp coming through from Bruno’s stocking plan in recent years, these are growing fast. Deux Iles is definitely will be a lake to watch in the future, it will hold a good sized stock of carp. We definitely return!

Fantastic place and a great time, 13 fish landed and around 12 lost the biggest being 38LB

Six rods, seven fish. Biggest was 39lb, smallest approx 15lb.

Very picturesque rural lake.
Witnessed a deer swimming in the lake being chased by a pair of resident swans!
Crayfish present but not too troublesome.

34 fish caught with several losses, 7x 30lb up to 39lb, 15 x 20lb up to 29.8 and a few stockies.
