Fishing for 2 weeks. Ended with 22 fish in total all average 30lb (all commons). Got my PB 45lb common also a grass carp which I've never caught before (got soaked).

The spicy sausage boiles bought from site with small halibut wafter.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Very clean and tidy, everything you need and more.

Were you happy with them?

Gary, Angie and George made us feel very welcome like part the family. Had some great laughs and always ready to help. Had the swim out front of the accommodation (husband disabled) so peg not fished much. Bit of a slow start - as we were (didnt really start till late Sunday). But over joyed with end results

Snowman on combi multi rigs fish close to the bank on the far margin.

They were great, the air conditioning came in very useful!

General Comments:

Gary, Ange and George were brilliant hosts, the food package was amazing! Although it was a tough week after the heat hit overnight it was still very enjoyable! We’ll be back!

We had 19 fish in total, biggest carp 42lb & catfish at 39lb

We didn’t go mad with the bait just a big handful over every cast.

We had a fantastic week. Gary Ang & George was very friendly & welcoming. Gary was happy to give his knowledge of the lake & Ang kept us well fed 😋 I strongly recommend the food package. George was always happy to help, he sorted us out with all the bait or equipment we needed. Thanks again for a great weeks fishing 😁.

Lake owners bait package bottom boilies, tipped with half a pop up.

The facilities were better than expected and the lake owners Gary Ange and their son George were very welcoming and looked after us perfectly.

Don't bother taking your own food or bait. Just get the bait and food packages offered by the owners.
