Great week 56 landed. Best fish were 47 grass with 4 others over 40lb, 41.13 mirror and 40 common. Plenty of 20's,30's, some doubles and a few singles. Fishing days only from 10am to night-time. Some days due to rain we didn't start until PM.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We all lost fish through hook pulls (28). We changed rigs from semi fixed to running, this helped a little. Changed between 'D' rigs and Blow-back rigs on size 4's. Fishing to the far margins with boat boats. Used Hemp and Marks plum boilee's with plastic on top.

Very good, we have been before and knew what to expect.

Kept it simple, all fish were caught far margin tree line

General Comments:

Mark and Anita go above and beyond to make your stay run smoothly, nothing was too much. Listen to mark for advice and would highly recommend using his bait. Some days we couldn’t get 3 rods to stay in the water as it was 1 fish after another.

52 fish between 3 people not fishing nights , biggest 48.6 common.8 x 40lb 14 x 30 lots of grass carp all carp in great condition and fought hard

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing to the far margin , bait boats really help , waiters baits and bottom bait all worked with lots of bait , house pellet and partical

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes , the updated lodge is much nicer , fridge is great with plenary of room for all , good shower , great that we have a charging bay for each swim / lake

Yes very clean and happy with what was there , obviously the other anglers keeping it clean is a help too well done to all that was fishing this week

Yes great venue, mark and Anita are great hosts , mark is always there to help if needed but also lets you get on with it if your a more experienced angler , very friendly and just a phone call away

Yes I have used angling lines for many trips now and have always been faultless even the covid , when we needed to cancel, always keep you updated with changes that may happen, would and have recommended angling lines

General Comments:

Great week had by all , all caught lots of beautiful fish , the euro star much easier than the ferry and would recommend anyone to use this service

We had 87 carp biggest being 49lb common 48lb common 45lb mirror many 30lb+ carp & mid 20s

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

South London Baits Red Plum boilies fished over pellets and particle mix fishing to the tree line constant bites

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes (been before) but would be nice if owners could have toilets & a shower block down at lake 7/8 save us having to drive all around the main lake

Yes & no as pointed out in facilities
