Details of your catches:
High pressure was the deciding factor only five fish caught biggest 39lb
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Wrapped baits far margin but the massive amount of crayfish was a huge problem along with the deep silt.
*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the crayfish were so active on your week, this is often worst in the hottest months.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Facilities were more than adequate, lake was lovely
Were you happy with them?
Yes happy with facilities
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Would recommend friends yes definitely but, the silt and more importantly the crayfish as they are a real big problem. Spoke to Phillipe and explained the issue he took the advice on board
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
It was a great venue but could be exceptional if the crayfish problem was solved and silt was treated as it’s really soft and deep
General Comments:
One of our party did catch a 39lb mirror which was in great condition and I think we would have caught more fish had the pressure not been through the roof with 34 degree temperatures. The venue is fabulous and John Jacue the chef & Phillipe the owner were really good and helpful. Steffen tried to put us on fish but the conditions were totally against us.

Were you happy with them?

General Comments:
i feel this place has been let go a bit, the cabin needs work doing to it the lake has a very silty bottom and the snags are terrible on swim three. The lake is over run with crayfish so you can't leave your bait out too long and if you leave your stuff unattended the rats will have it, but it is a lovely, peaceful place to stay.
*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback, we will pass your comments on to the owner.

General Comments:
The lake and the whole area is absolutely amazing. This is easily the best setting for a carp fishing venue we’ve been to in more than 18 visits to France. The very hot weather went against us from Tuesday onwards and the fish started spawning. As a result our catch report took a down turn. This didn’t spoil the week at this stunning venue. Philippe was a super guy
