Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities were fantastic, completely exceeded our expectations. Credit to Kim and Tony for being great hosts and making us feel at home. The gite was outstanding, the swims and lake in excellent condition and very well maintained.

Were you happy with them?

We would recommend this lake to anyone looking for a fishing break combined with some relaxing holiday time. The fishing was a good challenge trying different combination of baits and locations around the lake to land some decent carp. Teamed with the company of the peacocks and other wildlife we had a fantastic break! Would definitely book again.

Definitely, we are looking forward to returning.

Lots of fish caught on a daily basis however lots of them small. A few low 30's were caught through the week.

Much better than expected. The current owners were really nice friendly people and clearly take lots of pride in their venue. This venue is very well set up for either families or groups of friends

We would definitely recommend Angling Lines. Communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for Linda.

Mixture in your spot mix, but Tony would be the best person to ask for advice for fishing tips.

I have to be completely honest, the pictures seen doesn’t do this venue much justice, when arriving on the property I was blown away. 10 out 10 of the facilities.

Yes over the moon

100% can’t wait to get back out there as soon as possible

General Comments:

Tony and Kim were amazing they made us feel welcome from the get go, nothing we needed or ask for was a task. From getting lost on our way and them coming out to finding us. To myself running out of fags and Tony asking a friend to take me somewhere to buy them lol. Everything we needed was done with a smile. Tony and Kim give me tips on where to fish to, what bait works best etc. When we arrived and was showed to our pad we had a welcome Basket with chocolates, local wine, local bread and cake. Plus the most amazing duck eggs you’ll ever taste. The lake is definitely one of the best lakes I’ve ever been on. Broke my pb and had a amazing time, what more could you want :) Honestly a true hidden gem. Can’t wait to be back out there again.
