First Fish Of The Year, 18th Jan

Steve arrived to fish Laroussi mid day on Saturday. He was fishing for 4hr only when he had a bite. Heavy, strong and slow fight, finally in the net! I heard steve screaming "WOWWW it's bloody big Mehdi!!!"

I rushed to his peg, what a fish! We weighed it, 56lb!!! Steve is over the moon because he smashed his PB, hit his target to break the 50lber barrier and got a nice present from Laroussi for his birthday which is on monday!

Very first carp of the year for Laroussi, awesome!

Mehdi Does It Again, 15th Oct

Many of you who have fished either Laroussi or Old Oaks, will be aware of lake owner Mehdi's monster vegetables.

Mehdi sent us these pictures in this week. It is often remarked in the office that if we could bottle up and sell whatever Mehdi's secret is to making both his carp and vegetables grow so big we'd be millionaires!

The Key to Fishing Laroussi, 15th Oct

Anthony, fishing Laroussi this week, had a big problem after arriving on Saturday. His daughter accidently locked the van with the keys inside. With all his gear now locked inside that made it impossible to set up and fish!

I managed to find him blankets, bedchair, cooking stuff etc...

After having a think I finally found the solution by making a new key at Ford directly. I took him the surprise yesterday morning, he jumped on me he was so happy!

So no fishing for the first 48hrs. He casted out this morning, first bite, 60lb2oz mirror! A new PB!
