Disappointing week but thats fishing.

Didn't really get a grip on the tactics, nothing I tried worked. I had a double take the first night ( butterfly rig and Mehdis pellets) and then nothing til the end of the week.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes. but I reckon they are due for updating soon. My shower was tepid but I didn't mention it to Mehdi, who would probably have sorted it if I had.

yes.

Yes. I love the lake and the owner is great. It just didn't happen for us on this trip.

General Comments:

Was great to be back on laroussi and ctach up with mehdi and family again. The lake was looking fantastic as always.
The fish we had were stunning.
This lake has to be one of the best available and with the new fish growing so quick its one to watch.

5 carp up to (mirror 41.5lb, grass 47lb), 1 tench (8lb) for three anglers. Carp spawned briefly at the start of our visit, making the chances of catching more challenging.

General Comments:

Great venue but certainly not a runs water. Large swims and the owner is very helpful and a great guy. This was my second visit and I will be going back for more. The fish are large and in tip top condition and the setting is peaceful. Enjoyed every minute.
