Session started well Eddie having a 40lb and another at 36 then it just died, I blanked tried I tried hard all week with rigs and bait presentation even moving swim all to no avail.

General Comments:

Although the fishing for me was disappointing the bankside banter was very good, had a enjoyable week

Details of your catches:

35 carp caught between the 5 of us, ranging from 16lb to 58lb. Sam on peg 5 had 18 of the fish.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We all used boillies, but of hemp and pellet, Medhis bait is really good, recommend buying a package deal from him, save taking your own. Most importantly find good spots, if they are there you're catching, be quiet on the bank and when introducing bait.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes facilties done the job, Nothing has changed since my first trip in 2007, but it doesn't need to because it's the most beautiful lake I have ever fished, with the best looking carp in France!

Yes, the shower area could do with a little tidy up.

We took a group of 5 anglers catching 17 fish with three fish lost

The group caught using various tactics and baits and fish were caught all around the lake, interestingly the point which is usually the most popular swim didn't do a fish all week.

Yes, the facilities were absolutely perfect for a weeks fishing. Everywhere was clean and tidy with a fridge and large freezer for bait

Laroussi is one of the most stunning carp lakes you will have the pleasure of visiting with amazing wildlife. Medhi the owner is very welcoming and gave us an insightful tour of the lake with a wealth of information about each swim, a very helpful and all round top bloke. Carp were caught from all over the lake using various tactics and baits, everyone fished to their strengths and caught some of the most stunning French carp you will see on the bank. If you are looking for a runs water where you will catch numbers of fish a day then Laroussi isn’t for you, it’s a challenging lake in beautiful surroundings and the rewards are there, fish accurately on spots and you will catch, we can’t recommend it enough!!
