Started the week with a mixture of hemp, flaked corn and salted chilli maize with Krill boilies, (10 mm and 15 mm). Fished a variety of coloured pop ups over the top, putting 12 kg of bait out over 6 rods per day. Fish were consistent all week, catching from lots of different spots. Laroussi is a lake where you have to watch the fish. You have to fish where the fish are. Speak to Mehdi in great detail about your swim choice as he knows the lake inside out, he will put you in the right spots.

Exactly as expected.

Were you happy with them?

There is everything you need for a drive and survive holiday with good freezer space.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

No because I don't want anyone else to know about it! Want to keep it a secret for myself. My favourite place to fish in France, it reminds me of an English water but with much better weather and so much privacy between swims.

General Comments:

This is my third visit and Mehdi was an absolute superstar again. Fishing wasn't easy, you really have to work at it and be patient with the lake itself, but it gave Ben (age 13) the opportunity to see what fishing abroad is really like and it was worth it just to see his face when he caught 50!!

Lake is beautiful, pegs are perfect maybe a little under stocked would personally replace any cats or grass taking out with commons or mirrors

Fishing bit slow but hubby managed to bag lake record for a common so turned out brilliant for him in the end. Also big thanks to Julie from angling lines who was extremely helpful with a personal problem we had.

General Comments:

We had a good week with mild south westerlys all week, Mark beat me again which i'm getting use to. The fish were all in great condition with a good average weight, only 2 20's in 13 fish. Mehdi was the perfect gentlemen as always. Will be back next year.
