General Comments:

We had a good week with mild south westerlys all week, Mark beat me again which i'm getting use to. The fish were all in great condition with a good average weight, only 2 20's in 13 fish. Mehdi was the perfect gentlemen as always. Will be back next year.

Luke had 5 from Chene biggest being 59.12 mirror, Bradley after a move to Le Anse he managed to commons to 26lb and Tony on Le Pointe had 5 runs landed 3, biggest 37.12.

General Comments:

I was the only angler on the lake, which was great but made it easy for the fish to move to the free pegs. I fish laroussi regulary and have never found litter in the swims. Mehdi is a great guy and works hard to keep the lake as beautiful as it is. I am already looking forward to my next trip.

No, when we booked it was advertised as having a good few fish over 60 and 70lb, if you look through the last few years catch reports, you will see that these fish are no longer present. We went with 8 anglers and there is no way the lake is made for 8. The price of a exclusive booking of the lake is about 50% too much, using fish that are no longer in a lake to get bookings and determine the price is just wrong. Medhi seemed a very nice bloke, although we only saw him once on the initial walk round, didn’t see him again for the whole week, even when leaving.

*Owners Note* It is true the bigger carp have not come out recently but the stock has not changed in the lake. When we noticed that the average weight of the carp seemed to drop we removed many smaller nuisance catfish and grass carp to restore the balance. This means the bigger carp should again have access to more of the bait and we do continue to see 40's and 50's on the bank regularly, including this week with a 59lb mirror caught.

General Comments:

I would recommend that people looking to book laroussi do plenty of research, and you will see that it is not the same place as it used to be, the lake is stunning, but the fish quality is not there anymore.
