Over 50 fish caught! with all anglers catching, lots of big grassies out to 51lb , and some awesome long commons (39'8) and big mirrors to 49lb, 6 forties in total, with two sturgeon over 60lb making an appearance also. The Fully Scaled was caught by Paul Baker at 48lb+ what a fish that is!

Fish seemed to be held up on the no fishing bank, so Point Les Anse and Les Saules pegs had more bites from drop offs in margins with Open water not producing the goods on this occasion.

Fihmeal Boilies (spotted fin Smokey Jack, RG Formula etc) and particle produced with snowman and single pop up pressentations

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Snowman rigs over fishmeal boilies, Spotted Fin Smokey Jack, RG Formula and DNA S7, fished in the drop off all the fish were down the no fishing bank, generally caught within a few rod lengths in the gullies. a few pegs did well putting lots of bait, other were nicking fish on singles.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Brilliant Facilities, Clean, Tidy, loads of supermarkets and Mcdonalds etc within 7 mins drive. Massive Chest freezer and fridge, UK sockets for charging shower was warm and powerful. The Lake is extremely secure and many have said it before but Medi is the nicest and most helpful lake owner i have ever met.

Highly recommend, its a medium to hard lake, we as a group did really well, no nuisance fish although the grassies and small cats can be a bit of a pain. A Great Venue and Medi makes the place, Highly recommend, but you do have to work for your fish, a great challenge

We had a great time as always, Mehdi is cool as hell! He's become a good friend over the yrs, facilities good, bait service good, fishing amazing, lake beautiful.

Robin caught: commons 48lb, 43lb, 20lb, mirrors 38lb, 38lb, 30lb and 6 cat fish.
Adam: commons 28lb, mirrors 50lb, 49lb, Grass 48 lb, sturgeon 68lb

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities are fine, all you need. tactics, good boilies , mark and find good feed areas {take your time and watch the lake, find them as they follow the wind} hand full of bait on each rod, fish at a time water, I marked up 6 cast options on day 1 and moved around them.

Can't wait to go again. Mehdi has all our pictures. and my partner Lyndsey loved her 1st trip to France, coming again next yr.

The three of us managed 26 fish including 19 grass carp ranging from 31-42 five being over 40lb 2 mid twenty mirrors and three small commons and two large tench

General Comments:

Had a brilliant week, weather was scorching hot but we all managed new pb grass carp

We tried everything in the book, they took everything to be fair, single pop ups maybe.

General Comments:

We keep promising ourselves that we will avoid July/August in France but keep going back. all venues are the same this time of year where you think you are getting 7 days fishing but its only 7 nights as the fish just hold up under trees & this lake is no different from any other, however there are some spectacular fish here & the lake is in great condition with depths from 3-14 feet. we didn't over bait because you never know what has gone in the week before.
The difference between this lake & any other is the owner Medhi, i can quite honestly say that if you could choose your perfect neighbor then this chap would be him, what a top bloke.
The question is will we return? 100% but we will choose some cooler months next time as 37 degrees can play havoc with your catch rate.
