In all what a fantastic week. Garys catches - 44lb 8ounce common. 41lb mirror. 28lb common. 32lb grass carp plus 1 more grass carp caught but went ballistic let unhooked in net jumped out. 15lb common. Sean - 23lb common. 13lb 10ounce tench PB. Small Jack pike.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Cell bottom baits at distance, sent out with bait boat filled up with party mix with salmon oil and pellet crushed boilie. Most fish caught at night very early morning times between 2am-4am

I caught from L'Anse - 150 lb Catfish. 42 lb 10 Mir. 37 lb 12 Gra. 36 lb 8 Com. 34 lb 12 Com. 27 lb Com. Unfortunately my partner didn't catch from Le Plage.

Bottom baits tipped with pops or wafters made by myself at Wals Carp Baits over a good boat load of Hemp, Partiblend, Pellet & Boilies.

General Comments:

The fishing was hard for the first half of the week due to temps being in the 30's but then it cooled to 20 and the bites started coming. I was happy with 5 Carp & the Cat in 3 1/2 days.

Fished tight to snags in day due to very hot conditions. Open water at night keep bait trickling in on all areas. Best bait 10mm pop ups
