Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Large beds of bait meant you had to wait a long time for bites. We found 3-5 spombs over a tight area on gravel patches worked the best. Fish showed all day and all night at range over 200yrds. 7 fishermen on the lake in total caught over 30 fish. Match the hatch boilies worked well, Ronnie Rigs and multi Rigs worked best. IQD Rigs did not.

General Comments:

Great week, gorgeous lake now I know a bit more about the lake I would love to have another go for the Giants that are in this lake. And take pellets next time for the big sturgeon! Definitely didn't need to take 30kg of bait.

Best trip ever, been four times now, try Medhi's tomatoes, best host ever

The week started off relatively good with a few 40's being caught and a steady flow of carp coming each day.

Baiting with a kg of boillie on each spot every evening

General Comments:

Although there were not alot of carp caught for this week we had a few good fish. Towards mid week the weather turned extremely hot 36 degrees centigrade plus. The heat stopped the fish feeding and there were no bites after this. it seemed after talking to many other anglers fishing in France that week it was the same throughout.

Details of your catches:

We caught 52 fish. 40 grass carp to 56lb(new lake record). Mirrors to 44lb. Commons to 42lb. Total weight 1700lb.

We put in 200k of bait. Took ten sacks. Pellets corn and hemp.

Fourth trip. Perfect. Fridge and freezer superb. Shower lovely.

Mehdi is a cracking host. Checked rigs and bait and left us alone for the week.

Booking next year and year after. We followed a baking hot week and the fish especially the grass carp were feeding like mad!
