General Comments:

The carp were ready for spawning but the weather was up and down all week. My fish came after a much needed thunderstorm.

Details of your catches:

A frustrating week on Laroussi, I managed 5 fish in total, three small carp of 20lb c, 26lb c, 35.10lb m, a 62lb sturgeon, and a tench! Barry had a good sturgeon at 59lb and my dad Steve had one double figure common. Tough week for all of us on the lake in general.

Small pop up's over particle seemed to work best, also small particle hookbaits

General Comments:

Laroussi is an awesome water with very good rewards when you get it right. Whenever there were fish at our end of the lake I had fish. Very well run fishery by a true gent. Mehdi is a top bloke! Will be going back next year for unfinished business!!

22 fish in total. Best fish were 68.8, 50, 49.4, 43, 42 41. 3x30.

General Comments:

Leading on from my big article (http://www.anglinglines.com/docs/venuearticlesdetails.php?venue=Laroussi&article=299) , on arrival some fish were crashing but first two days demonstrated that the lake was not fishing right. 40 fish were out the week b4 and congrat's to those guys who took many fish off Zigs. The lake was switched off for unknown reasons. The weather started of wet and cold then became warm then hot. We all fished according to our plan, implemented around the lake but only Point and Les 2 Saules could be induced to feed. So we did not turn it into a runs water as planned : - ( Myself and my brother were on point and we had the majority of fish. I did say I had learned a bit of the puzzle and clearly there is a lot more to learn here ! We got the impression that the fish were? pre spawning, water temp was up as indicated on bait boat recorder. I think as a team we need to come back and try again : - )

Details of your catches:

23 fish between us, around 60% were grass carp...all from La Chenne & Le Anse. Best carp were 70 (only run on right hand rod all week, but not complaining lol), 54, and a couple of low 40's. Best grass carp were 44 & 46. Two guys blanked, as ever it's always the top swims that produce.

Lots caught on fake corn over beds of particle at long range.

Despite some pretty cold weather for the time of year, brilliant time at Laroussi as always, 3rd trip since 2010. Still getting better!
