General Comments:

5th visit to Laroussi and as always a pleasure to be there.

Details of your catches:

We had 5 fish between us also losing two .. A 57, two mid 40's, a upper 30 and a mid 20, two smaller were commons the others were mirror carp including a 57 fully scaled !!

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Baited a spot on some clear gravel at 90 yard baiting small at first with hemp corn boiles yellow pop ups fished over the top , but the weather was not in our favour ! Baited up quite heavy for the time off the year and sat on it and hoped for a change of weather which we got and within a night of the wind changing to a warm on the bites came and I had one ! Small changes in the rig and baiting and weather proved crucial ended in a good week all around for the time of year.

Details of your catches:

Fished Laroussi for 8 nights, had 18 carp. Best 3 were a 72lb mirror and new 70, 60+ mirror (bottomed my 60lb scales out and didn't realise I had the wrong set with me) and 46lb mirror, also had 5 sturgeon to 70+

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I baited heavily on 1 spot at 75yards fishing all 3 rods on or around also casting pva bags or pop-ups to showing or fizzing fish. Mainly boilies and some hemp.

Brilliant, clean tidy and warm.

Definitely.

Will recommend both lakes (Old Oaks and Laroussi) to anyone as both are great and Laroussi is only going to get better due to Medhi being the kind of man he is.
