Little bait. Casting to showing fish. Fishing was slow but to be expected so early in the season with sunny days and cold nights with constant easterly winds.

Yes they were great. Plenty of freezer space for all the anglers bait, English and French plug points. Large fridge. Clean shower and toilet.

General Comments:

Mehdi is a top bloke. Very helpful when needed. The venue is very well laid out. Pegs are well spaced and well sized. Lovely lake and a great stock to boot. I can't wait to get back.

7 carp, 1 tench. Best carp was 46lb 8oz mirror.

Fish 1 baited spot and took 3 carp. Otherwise put baits on showing fish. All carp taken on balanced baits 18mm.

General Comments:

Bit of a slow week on Laroussi, when weather came right the carp were straight on the feed. Only 2 anglers on the lake so you'd take one carp , then the carp would move and start showing elsewhere. Again, Mehdi has been doing loads of work over the winter period, cutting back trees, and working on the pegs. Still have to go back for a 60.

Caught of bed of bait and also single hook baits. 16mm slow sinkers on stiff links produced most bites

3rd visit for us, perfect for the serious carp angler, spot on, everything you could need for a weeks fishing.

General Comments:

A great weeks fishing, a little slow due to cold front but fish still catchable if you worked at it. Medhi has done an incredible amount of work around the lake this winter, swims have been mulched making them mud free in wet weather, a lot of trimming of surrounding plant life has given the venue a very smart look, come this summer the place is going to look stunning! This is by far the best big fish water I have fished in France (and there has been a few!) Just got to get back there ASAP!!!!!

General Comments:

Fished for 2 weeks, first 5 days the weather was changeable with strong winds and rain, no action at all. The next 6 days weather settle and had 10 carp. The last 4 days were below freezing temperature at night , down to -4. Good session for January though, and Mehdi and his family always spot on as usual.
