2nd visit so I know what facilities were like. Yes big fridge and freezer and plug sockets

Could do with a few more sockets as with a full lake,they were full most of the time with phones, batteries, headlights etc. Maybe the odd rubbish bin on every swim wouldn't go a miss.

Yes. Everytime I ring for a booking or information about any lake,the girls in the office are more than helpful with info,even telling you about new up and coming lakes that they are about to take on

General Comments:

Well 1st of all, Mehdi - such a lovely man, always has a smile. He tells you about last week or previous weeks catches and were from,features in swims etc,always there to help if and when needed. This was my 2nd visit to Laroussi (back in april this year) - such a lovely lake with lots of big fish. Needless to say I blanked in april..but as my comments said.."theres a big fish with my name on it". My previous best was 49lb 10oz from Jonquoy and have been waiting about 6/7 years to bank my 1st 50. This is about my 30th plus trip abroad, about 1/3 with Angling Lines,so as I drive, get to the lake,set up,im not much into fishing hard when I arrive,i find a few features,bait up,and chuck out,on the second day, early hours about 1am,my 2nd rod screamed off,in the pitch black under the light of my cap lamp.i seen what was I can only say....was a big un(and i've cleanded that up lol) I shouted J,the lad next to me to come and give me a hand to weigh it.my 56lb kenwood scales bottomed out,he calculated the weight of over 62lb plus, minus the sling,he said 60lb,after weighing the fish of a life time,my new camera would not work,so I had to take a few pics from my phone,when we were about to return the fish back to the water,i said to J," I didn't want this,i wanted my 50",as we were returning the fish back,my 3rd rod screamed off...and in weighing the fish,J said," I don't believe this "he calculated it at 57 lb....2 monsters inside 15 minutes.I later had 4 runs over next 3 days but didn't connect with them. The other anglers on the lake,a party of 4,kev and kate, well all got on very well,spoke about the days fishing etc,the houling winds and rain we had,but that didn't put off the catches,as 3 other 50lb mirrors were caught by 3 anglers,and a 50lb plus sturgeon to Kev,and a few other big fish in the 40's and 30's....Roll on next april for my next trip

Sam Stott - 7 fish - 1x51lb 8oz mirror, 44lb mirror, 44lb4oz mirror and a 49lb Mirror Fully Scaled. 3 Grass Carp around 23lb. Jay Stott - 4 fish - 25lb common, 24lb common, 23lb grass carp and a 26lb grass carp.
