General Comments:

Fished another lake the week before and had 7 fish up to just over 30, so while the weather was still mild thought i'd have a go for a big one at Laroussi. Had a chat with Medi when i got there and i had fished Laroussi before in winter and usually a lot of waiting involved so decided to get the rods out on spots i had fished before for the night, then see if there was anything showing the next day. The baits had only been out for about 4 hours , and off one went. 20 minutes later had a PB mirror on the scales at 56lb. Next day had a small common off the same spot. Lost another big fish on the thursday morning. Will be back out there again soon if i get time as the fish are all at there top weight.

General Comments:

Lovely lake but disappointed to find beer bottle tops pressed into the logs on each swim and redundant BBQs left behind by anglers.

With the dying vegetation we also found a bait boat battery left under a bush and beer bottles in the horse field behind the main bank.

This may be considered to be normal by some but we are involved in clubs and syndicates with zero litter policies. I'm sure the above could be easily addressed.

The weather turned colder and the pressure raised during our trip which made the carp less active. Early in the week there were some massive carp showing.

The facilities are good and clean.

We would certainly return.
