Best tactics/bait Home made cell wafters, boated out 120yds to a gravel spot, along with a handful of ground bait per rod, made up of Medhi's parti mix, crumbled cell boilies, and chilli hemp spiced with garlic powder and salt. Mid week the bites were non existent from La Plage, but the carp do tend to move around on this lake. To draw them back to the swim, ground was increased to 1 kilo per rod, may be this was the reason they returned !!

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes Indeed they were, with ample freezer space, hot shower etc, although cooking facilities would have been an added bonus.

Were you happy with them?

Yes Was I happy with them Very much so, most welcome at those times you need a break and freshening up.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes Indeed I would and in fact have done so, but to the individual angler like myself you become a victim of Laroussi's success and find it difficult to get a booking at peak times. Perhaps the way forward would be to literally plague Linda and Julie frequently for any individual cancellations, or indeed be placed on a waiting list if one exists

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes Most certainly I would. The professional and personal service provided goes a long way in taking care of the smaller details sometimes forgotten or tedious, thank you for that.

General Comments:

Now what can I say about this "dream of a lake" that has not already been said many times. The swims are natural in that there are no manufactured areas that take away from the natural charm of the place. The management, welfare and ownership of Laroussi are to be applauded, all of these are a credit to you Medhi, and provide us anglers with a venue that in my eyes is second to none. Since my return to carp fishing I've searched for the as "close to ideal" venue.....no need to look any further, I've found it and thank you again Angling Lines

43 fish in total 3 fifties to 58.4 53 & 52.2 all fell to chabs!!! 6 forties to 46.12 mr.woods. Numerous thirties twenties and upper doubles 10 grasses!

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Far margin, gravel bars/patches deeper water, particle did the trick fish for a bite at a time.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes good shower, fridge and freezer. Cooker and another freezer wouldn't go amiss- 5 of us couldn't get all our bait in freezer. That was the only down side to a superb venue.

Were you happy with them?

Yes as above.

Yes fantastic lake with some proper lumps already booked our next trip there!

General Comments:

On behalf of the lads and myself I would like to thank Medhi for running such a good water, really nice fella too. Meets you on arrival tells you what's what pegs spots rules (nothing out of the ordinary) then leaves you to it but is only a phone call away if needed.

General Comments:

Mehdi is a very friendly and helpful host. The lake is a hard water that takes a lot of work to produce fish on the bank. The quality of the fish is superb, and along with the amazing setting, made our holiday perfect. This will not be the last visit to Laroussi!! We would like to thank Mehdi and his family for allowing us to create memories that will stay with us forever. A truly wonderful place!

General Comments:

First trip to laroussi, deffo not my last. Both of us smashed are pb's and if that wasn't good enough, catching 2 cats over a 110 and 120lb. The big cat coming out on r first night had already made my trip. Big thanks to the 2 Dutch guys Harry an rob who helped with the weighing of the first cat as this was my first ever cat fish. Thanx to angling lines again making booking a french trip easy an hastle free Cheers Mehdi, great venue we will deffo be back
