Our group caught 33 fish including 122lb Cat, 3 x 50lb sturgeon, 49lb grassy, 3 x 40lb, 39lb and 38lb carp and lots of other grassys! Also caught a 6lb crusian carp!

Bait boat to distant margin. Little and often feed.

Very good plenty of fridge and freezer space. Really nice shower.

Definitely, challenging water, but we all knew that in advance.

Yes Angling Lines service was superb, very prompt to answer queries.

General Comments:

Mehdi is a great host, he gives you help if you need it, but is happy to leave you to enjoy the fishing. Local shops are close.

Mark in l'anse caught 1 sturgeon 57.1, Ryan in le Haut Fond caught 1 sturgeon 62 + 1 grass mid 20s. Top Rod Richard had 6 grass to 29lb. The others shamefully BLANKED!! We cant explain it but so many fish were lost by us and Mehdi said that the group before suffered the same fate. Tried all sorts of rigs to combat this but could not. If we landed all fish then I think we would of cleared about 7 more fish(hopefully not grass)

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We tried all tactics but I would say two pieces of corn had best results as well as snowman and cell with corn top. fishing was very very hard. We had very high pressure and very hot weather little wind and an old wind at that.

yes,Only if they were experienced as this water is by no means easy. You have to go with the expectations of landing 1 fish of a lifetime otherwise you're in for disappointment. No, If your looking to catch a big haul. I think this is our last trip to laroussi as it is a long way to go for the amount of fish you can expect to haul. Think we will go closer to home where stocks are higher but still with big fish.
