General Comments:

First trip to laroussi, deffo not my last. Both of us smashed are pb's and if that wasn't good enough, catching 2 cats over a 110 and 120lb. The big cat coming out on r first night had already made my trip.

Big thanks to the 2 Dutch guys Harry an rob who helped with the weighing of the first cat as this was my first ever cat fish.

Thanx to angling lines again making booking a french trip easy an hastle free

58 fish in total. Lots of grass carp. 6 commons from 20lb to 43lb. 5 Mirrors 43lb to 51lb 14oz, 1 sturgeon at 60lb and a 9lb tench!

Light baiting with boilies fished over Medhi's partyblend.

all used varios tactics with baitboats,spodding and light baiting.
cell and rahja/gurka spice worked just fishing the same as you would back home finding gravel or clear silt patches and sticking to it

everything was there what you need and shops are a 5 min drive up the road

yes chance of a very big fish there gives you a good feeling

General Comments:

definatley gonna go back there very relaxing and a great atmosphere with the good chance of having the fish of a lifetime !!

Details of your catches:

Only 5 decent carp out all week. 4 over 40lb. 1 sturgeon to 57lb. Few small grass and common carp. My brother had 3 of them. 2 others had 1 each.

Bottom baits with small spread of boilies. Large beds of bait didn't work.

Better than expected.

Yes 10 out of 10 for a bivvy only lake.

General Comments:

Fishing was poor due to weather and time of year. I blanked but loved the place and have already booked my next trip there. Its my type of fishing, you need to work for the fish.
