very wet all week, rats can be a problem, but i will be booking again soon.

I caught one fish a day. a 56 a 48 a 50 a 52 and a 45. My mate blanked but lost four!

Yes, already have. It couldn't be better. Mehdi is great . There if you need him but leaves you alone to get on with it. couldn't fault it.

On the whole it was difficult week with temperatures ranging from zero to 25 degrees and we only caught 7 carp from 34lb to 51lb.

We tried everything but could not figure out what was the best tactics or bait. using small hi-viz pop ups caught four fish.

General Comments:

Nightmare from start to finish (ferries being on strike didnt help). You cant help but like Mehdi but a few of the new lads to the lake, would have liked him to have visited them at least once on the lake to share his lake knowledge.

25 fish including numerous 40s, a 58lb mirror, 64lb 13oz mirror and a 40lb grass.
