20mm snowman with a 4oz inline dropoff fished about 85 yards with all 3 rods on le chene accounted for 22 of my fish 2x60s 15x40s 2x30s 2x20s and a sturgeon and cat other pegs sruggled with mainly grass carp.It was the hottest week of the year and expected to struggle as the lake is notoriously difficult in hot weather and the heat was unbearable and the only reason i opted to fish le chene as its shaded.I started off fishing at range as everyone seems to advise and only had 1 fish so i switched to shorter range baiting up with about 1kg of cell boilies per rod and started catching straight away.Fish were showing at longer range but not feeding i didnt see a single fish where i was actually catching them.Ignored the advice to fish small baits or plastic and did well as usual doing the opposite in france.

General Comments:

Didnt want to leave and cant wait to go back,mendi pleasant and chilled as usual and left us alone to fish but was there to help if needed.Best lake i have ever fished everything about the place is fantastic apart from there were a ridiculous amount of rats ,one lad an le anse had to block his bobbins off as his alarms were constantly going off with them running into them ,they dont usually bother me but it was the worst rat problem i have come across.Also a couple of dogs in the area will keep you awake with none stop barking at night which was not to bad for me as i slept in the day and stayed up at bite time which seemed to be between 11pm and 9am *** Mehdi's comment; Phillip, every 2 months I spread poison on each peg to regulate the rats. Now it's fine, most of them are dead. Thank you. ***

bottom bait rigs with single baits. resting the swim in the day time produced more action of a night.every fish bar one was caught on THE CELL

Good lake not as big as I thought 8 anglers is to many 4 or 6 at a push onner top man
