Quite a hard week, fishing great up until Tuesday afternoon; turned hot on Weds & Thurs, big struggle after that - 5 mirrors between the group; 49:07, 48:14, 48:13 (big plated), 37:04 & 38:02, plus around 10 small commons. Some good grass carp though; 39:08, 37:08; 37:05; plus a couple of 20's. The friendly sturgeon (the one with the crinkled top tail lobe) made 2 appearances during the week to same angler, at 54:08..

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Cell, and small sticks. Also critically balanced hookbait specials, Cell with various flavours took a lot of our fish.. Don't strike too early...the line bites at Laroussi can seem like full blooded runs, especially at night - train yourself to make sure your line is actually being taken off the spool before picking up the rod!

Second trip, needless to say we'll be going back, great lake, Medhi was helpful & friendly, as he always is...

Over 20 fish throughout the week biggest being 69lb.

A few of us produced good fish using main Line cell bait 14mm with plastic yellow corn. The few that used the party blend available from the lake wasn't so successful.

General Comments:

overall a excellent week ,weather was good ,shops close and the baliff is a nice guy.

Details of your catches:

first 24 hrs one guy had 56,57,48,45 first night also 107lb cat many grass to 49lb !! few small carp 13lb tench!!

single boilie pop ups first 24hr was great , slowed down after that fish moved to l'anse as at this time no one was in there fish spawned a bit again

medi top owner , hope he is feeling better now will come back agian as this lake is stunning and some wacking fish of all species inc a world record tench!!

A very difficult week - carp just spawned and werent having it, but its not a runs water so cant complain.
