Most fish were caught at range 140+ yard and all carp with exception of 1 came out on Mainline Cell, Sturgeon on large Halibut pellet

Yes, better.

Yes, clean toilet/shower with plenty of hot water. Large fridge adequate for 8 anglers plus a chest freezer.

General Comments:

Weather was terrible all week, we started with 2 days of strong ice cold winds followed by continuous rain and hailstones and just for good measure the heavens opened when packing up. The fishing was quality so no matter what the weather threw at us it didn’t dampen our spirits. All 8 of us had a PB of one species or another and we have all been on annual breaks to France for the past 10 years, which says something about the quality of this lake. As for the lake, just stunning, the pics on the website do not do it justice. Medhi’s a top bloke who’s genuinely interested to hear about your captures and happy to offer guidance if required but will leave you to enjoy your holiday if not. We are already booked for a return next year and only been back a few days. If you like drive and survive style breaks this is up there with the best of em.

81 fish in total, a lake record catfish of approx 160lb , steve adcock caught 41 fish himself, including a 42 lb grass carp and tench of 11.12, everyone caught so all in all and excellent weeks fishing. I had a 6.03 crucian too.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

fishing at long range with the bait boats. We are all not big fans of them, but having blanked last year realised that they are necessary if you want to catch. if there were two new swims put in oppossite Le chen on the points by the house, this wouls really help spread the fish out. They are wise and just go out of range so its very hard without a bait boat.

yes, to someone with experience, but not to someone going for the 1st time, they would be better off fishing old oaks next door.

They had about 24 fish : 70lb 6oz, 58lb7oz, 58lb, 41lb 5oz, 41lb 8oz, 42lb 5oz, 46lb 3oz, 49lb 8oz, 41lb, 40lb, , 39lb, 37lb, 30lb, 27lb perfect zip linear. Now the common's : 32lb 8oz, 21lb. Sturgeon : 57lb, 55lb. Grass carp x 6 up to 34lb. I have added photos of the 3 biggest ones.

Used Rahja spice boilies bought at the lake fished on top of Sticky baits bloodworm pellet
