This is our third visit to Laroussi and have recommended the venue numerous times

We have used Angling Lines for as long as I can remember, they are always extremely helpful and assist in arranging the perfect French adventures!

General Comments:

The lake has been fishing tough of late, with high pressure, torrential rain (4 inches in 24 hours) warm days and cold nights (5 degrees and under) we were always going to be up against it but still managed 12 fish and memorable captures.

Medhi as always is the nicest owner you will have the pleasure of meeting, he is extremely helpful and always on hand for any advice you may need.

Laroussi itself is a stunning, picturesque lake that holds a vast array of lovely carp you would be happy to catch from any lake in the world but it is not a runs water by any means, the fishing is difficult but the rewards are there.

Find your spots on day one, sit on your hands, bait little and often and you will catch, more than half of our captures were from baits that had been in the water for over 36 hours, fish were also caught from all areas of the lake.

We are already looking forward to our next trip to Laroussi!

General Comments:

Arrived at lake water very fishy smell not much activity on lake only 1 person managed to catch a few carp out of 5 of us with no runs what so ever. 2 fish were found floating on lake. Owner fretted us when we arrived 10mins . Did not com bank untill next day to give advice on swims but was very late & dark. Did see see or hear from owner for rest of trip. Very poor & disappointed as the trip cost a lot of money between us all..
*Angling Lines comment* We are really sorry this trip did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately at the time you were there the high temperatures would have made fishing very difficult and Laroussi can be a tricky lake at the best of times. The two carp deaths were an isolated incident and were probably due to the lower oxygen levels caused by the higher day time temperatures. As you can see from the feedback that followed your week the lake is now back to normal oxygen conditions and fishing well.
