Le Sauci Facilities

The lake offers different facilities depending on which swim you book. These were all newly installed in early 2026 and make for a very comfortable week's fishing.

Bivvy-only angler facilities for the use of swims 2 and 3:
The facilities including an accessible shower suitable for people with reduced mobility and a toilet. There is also a further shared room which contains a simple kitchenette with stove top, some dishes and utensils, and two refrigerators with freezer compartments for your food and drink. There is also electric heating in this room.

The lodges which sit behind swims 1 and 4:

Both of these swims benefit from their own private lodge. These provides very comfortable accommodation just a few metres from your rods, meaning you can sleep in the accommodation at night with your rods out. Each lodge and swim can accommodate a maximum of 6 people in total (of which a maximum of 2 are anglers).

The layout consists of:

Master double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet
Large living area overlooking the lake
Fully equipped kitchen
Second bedroom with four single beds (adult size, laid out as two doubles - please see accommodation photos)
Second shower room
Separate toilet
Electric heating and air conditioning

Please note, linen and towels are not provided. You are welcome to bring your own or rent on-site:

€20 per bed for a duvet, pillow, and sheets.

€10 for a set of two towels.

Once booked, you can order these direct with the lake owner, who's contact details are on the info pack within your customer area. Mattress protectors are always provided, these are changed after each rental.

All facilities are connected to the mains water circuit.

We apologise for the current lack of accommodation photos, we will be adding these to the website within the next couple of weeks - the finishing touches are still being carried out on their installation on the swims!

Nearby area and services

The village boasts numerous local producers, offering fruits, vegetables, beef and pork. A farm bakery is conveniently located close to the lake.

For everyday needs, the nearest supermarket, tobacconist, bakery, and petrol station are 10 minutes drive away in the town of Givry-en-Argonne. The nearest hospital, with a 24/7 emergency department, is 20 minutes away in Sainte-Menehould.
