Le Sauci Rules
Arrival and departure times:
Please arrive no earlier than 16:00
Depart no later than 09:00
No arrivals or departures can be permitted outside of these hours. In case of delay, please inform us.
To preserve the peace of the venue and ensure everyone enjoys their fishing, please respect the rules below.
General:
- Vehicles limited to a maximum speed of 10 km/h around the lake
- The gate keys must never leave the premises without our permission. Inform the owners before leaving the venue
- Visitors are prohibited, outside of those named on the booking
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times
- Under 15s must be accompanied by an adult fisherman at the same swim
- Dogs are allowed but must remain under the constant
supervision of their owners. You must ensure they do not leave your swim (keep them on a leash) and that they do not disturb other anglers
- In the event of obvious intoxication or consumption of
narcotics whilst fishing, the owners reserve the right to immediately exclude you from the
site without refund
- Respect other anglers and the surrounding area. Please do not shout
or make noise, and do not engage in any uncivil behaviour
- Respect the wildlife and flora. It is forbidden to break or
cut branches, reeds, flowers, water lilies etc
- Open fires are strictly prohibited
- Barbecues are provided at each swim, you will need to provide the charcoal. It is strictly forbidden to put other materials, such as branches in it
- Swims must be kept clean at all times
- Only green brown or black bivvies/tents allowed
- The estate accepts no responsibility in case of theft or
accident
- The site is under video surveillance for your safety and
peace of mind
- The flagrant offence of fish theft, as defined and
punishable under Article 311-1 of the Penal Code, will be reported to the
gendarmerie, and proceedings will be initiated in the police court. Immediate
exclusion and a permanent ban from the site will be declared
• For the well-being of the fish, we ask that you avoid excessive handling. All captures must be made calmly in order not to stress the fish further
• Wounds must always be disinfected using the product we provide
• Please return the fish to the water as quickly as possible, using a landing net and placing them gently on a damp unhooking mat, away from direct sunlight
• All photo sessions must be done kneeling. We also ask you to send us a photo of your catches via SMS or email
• Please remember that these magnificent trophies are living beings - treat them with respect
Equipment:
• Nylon mainline (between 30/100 and 45/100) is allowed
• Braided mainline is allowed only with a minimum 4-meter fluorocarbon leader
• Braided leaders are prohibited
• Leadcore is prohibited
• Micro-barbed (crushed or barbless) hooks are allowed. Barbed hooks are prohibited
• Damp unhooking mat and large landing net is mandatory
• Life jacket is mandatory when using a boat (hired from us on site)
• Bait boat is allowed
• Fish finder (echo sounder) is allowed
• Markers are allowed
• Generators are prohibited
• All particles (seeds) are prohibited unless purchased from us on-site to ensure correct preparation
• Spodding with Bait Rocket or Cobra is allowed
• Keepnets are prohibited
• You must not leave your swim without first removing your rods from the water
If you or a member of your party experiences any issues during your holiday, please report them immediately to the venue owner/bailiff and to Angling Lines. This allows us the opportunity to resolve the matter while you are still at the lake, in line with our holiday Terms & Conditions.
