General Comments:

A last minute decision to book a 4 night trip, my 4th over the years to Lillybelle which is such a peaceful place to fish.
Weather was very warm and sunny to begin with, which made the fishing very hard however once a bit of cloud rolled in and the pressure started to drop the fish started to show themselves and had a very good last couple of days.
Probable my favourite place to fish in France.

Steve, 9 carp to 38.5lb. Rob first time in France 7 carp to 33lb.

Best tactics up until Tuesday were balanced baits to far end of lake using bait boat and a light scattering of loose chops and maize. Had cold rain all Tuesday night which slowed down the fishing. But picked up again towards the end of the week.

General Comments:

Fished Lillypool before so had a good idea what the lake would be like. Rick gives you all the help he can as usual to catch as many carp as possible. Definitely be back at sometime to have a few of the larger carp on the bank.

Fish fight hard. Richard is an excellent source of information, ignore at your peril.
Lakes upkept, backs in good condition.
Very tranquil, can't wait to return!
