Basic knotless knot rigs.
Carp out on Great White boilies, if you want the cats then add pellet into the mix.

Facilities were perfect, fully equipped kitchen and hot and powerful shower.

General Comments:

It was a very hot week and really glad I chose the swim next to the cabin as transferred all food into the fridge. Also in the afternoon this swim gets some shade. Richard the owner is a great bloke and provides as much advice as you want.

Excellent week for all 3 anglers finishing the week on 53 fish, the carp going upto 43lb with the majority doing 30lb plus.
Also a 55lb and 65lb cat

Lake bait boilies tipped with sweetcorn fished over beds of particles boilie and pellet,
Simple blowback rigs doing the business

The swim by the lodge produced the most bites casting down towards the aerator / margin. Bottom baits and wafters, inferno and krill did the business for us.

This was our second time to the lake so we knew what to expect, everything was perfect for a weeks fishing, shout out to the power of the shower!

General Comments:

Our only comments would be that if angling lines would offer the euro tunnel instead of P&O ferries to get us to the lake faster that would be great and I think more anglers would book.
