MDP Lake Facilities

On-site Facilities

The facilities are basic but modern, located at the side of the house. The property is 100% off grid and relies on solar power, but you would never really know it.

There is a separate toilet and shower room. There is also an undercover washing up area. A fridge and freezer (freezer holds max 40kg of boilies) are provided along with charging points for phones, boat batteries etc.

There is the BBQ area with gas BBQ and a picnic bench for anglers use located behind the middle swim.

There is 4G signal in the swims but it can be localised in the area. The code for house WiFi will be provided if required, but you'd need to use this closer to the facilities as it does not reach the swims.

Please note; that the water is from the on-site well and is therefore non potable, please bring your own bottled water.

You are ensured a warm welcome from owners Scott and Heather, who live on site further back from the lake and will leave you to enjoy your holiday unless needed.

Local Area

There is a really good supermarket a 10 minute drive from the lake. In the local village, you can also find a fuel station, restaurant, pharmacy and tobacco shop. Additionally, there is a large vending machine for local farm produce.
