MDP Lake Facilities

On-site Facilities
The facilities are basic but modern, located at the side of the owner's house, with their own separate entrance. They contain:

A separate toilet and shower room
An undercover area with washing up sink, fridge and freezer (freezer holds max 40kg of boilies), charging points

Lakeside Facilities
There is a comfortable social area with gas BBQ and a picnic bench for anglers use, located behind swim 2. This is approximately 30m from swims 1 and 3, meaning you can socialise together with your rods out.

Other Things to Note
The entire site is 100% off grid and therefore utilises modern solar solutions, which provides ample power.

There is 4G signal in the swims but it can be localised in the area. The code for house WiFi can be provided if required, but you'd need to use this closer to the facilities as it does not reach the swims.

The water is from the on-site well and is therefore non potable, so you will need to bring your own bottled water.

You are ensured a warm welcome from owners Scott and Heather, who live on site further back from the lake and will leave you to enjoy your holiday unless needed.

Local Area
There is a really good supermarket a 10 minute drive from the lake. In the local village, you can also find a fuel station, restaurant, pharmacy and tobacco shop. Additionally, there is a large vending machine for local farm produce.
