Details of your catches:

8 Grass Carp to 46lbs
10 Common Carp to 36lbs
5 Mirror Carp to 37lbs
1 Koi Carp 15lbs

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

take tiger nuts and not boilies as the poisson chat were a big issue.
if you take boilies, take 26ml and air dry them so the poisson chat dont take them

Were the facilities what you expected?

The shower was nice and hot, once we got used to how to turn it on and heat up

Were you happy with them?

yes, clean, but basic.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

yes i would for winter fishing because of the Poisson Chat

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

yes

General Comments:

A pleasant fishing trip with a variety of catches.
Although we were disappointed to encounter numerous poisson chat and crayfish that even consumed our pineapple flavoured boilies, the fishing location itself was tranquil and easily accessible, with a nearby supermarket and village

Details of your catches:

We caught 35 fish between us. I caught 14 myself, my biggest was a 46.2 grass carp

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Big beds of bait over the spot, open water and margins, I brought their party mix was good stuff

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facility hut we had continuous hot water in the shower which was nice. Had a big fridge with a little freezer above and plenty of sockets for charging, can't fault the hut at all

Were you happy with them?

100%

General Comments:

Had a good week's fishing, the huts behind swim 1 and 5 was nice, went round and had dinner and a few beers with the lads every night and the fact u ain't stuck in your bivvy when it's raining is nice, good for social.

Absolutely, first class as always

General Comments:

As a group we had the dreaded news that the fish were spawning, so we went into holiday mode. However there were fish to be caught and with a bit of effort we done well considering. All the fish caught were in great condition and the fights were great. The venue itself is stunning and we would definitely return
