6 anglers

Details of your catches:

6 anglers caught 19 fish between us
All PBs of the lads
grass carp at 4l.lb
common at 36lb
mirror at 35lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Double tiger nuts over a bed of particle worked the best for the group
Poisson chat where destroying the boilies and pellets

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, basic but clean and everything you'd expect for a drive and survive trip.
The communal facility area had showers, toilets and power points, hosting a small fridge.
Two swims had a small outhouse with benches and lights.

Were you happy with them?

Yes Angling Lines were supportive when needed, good customer services, friendly and available.
The website is easy to navigate throughout the whole process.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes

General Comments:

One swim was deeper then the rest, the lake in general is quite shallow all all around
the bailiff recommended using tigers, although the website mentioned only 250g per person per week, between us all we used 60kg over the week. Worth speaking to the bailiff before heading out. Frank was our point of contact.
Mark was available for bait or any other needs.

*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback :-) The usual rule regarding amount of tigernuts has been relaxed due to the crayfish this year.

Details of your catches:

3 Grass to 44lb, 1 35lb Common.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Slow week with all fish being up top end of lake. Tiger nut with fake corn. Poison chat and crayfish present so the use of fake baits and tigers is essential.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, basic but perfect for what you need.

Were you happy with them?

Yes.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes, beautiful place to fish. The shelters in peg 1 and 5 are fantastic.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes.

General Comments:

Will return again. Hopefully next time fishing isn’t as slow. Frank is very helpful and would recommend this venue.

Details of your catches:

All members of our party caught some lovely fish... both large scaley mirrors and some big chunky commons.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

The margins seemed to produce more fish than open water.... nutrabaits pineapple nbutric boilies worked well for us.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Toilet and shower with charging points for boat batteries ect.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, basic but clean.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes definitely

This was my first time visiting La Renarde, it was only a short visit but I will definitely visit again...

Details of your catches:

Only 5 fish, nice clean fish, 46lb, 30lb, 29lb, 27lb, 16lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Particle and boilie mix

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes but toilet needs fixing to the floor

Were you happy with them?

Yes but as above

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes if the coypu are dealt with, couldn't fish at night due to them biting your lead and rig off completely!!!!

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes

General Comments:

Nice place but ruined by the coypu!!!!

*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. The coypu population hadn't been an issue previously, however the bailiff is now actively managing this so it does not continue to cause an issue.
