Really tough week due to the heat, fish just not feeding, was in the singles swims that were seeing no fish whatsoever. Between us we had 3 fish and lost 4, 36lb and a 22lb mirror in, plus a billy bream. The lake was completely dead for most of the week, very few fish showing where we were, which was disappointing but nothing anybody could do about it, the fish were all at the other end of the lake, and slowly started moving mid week.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Pink mainline Fruity squid Wafters, everything was taken on these fishing to the margins and tight corners

Were the facilities what you expected?

Good showers and Toilets, the car park toilet is a god-send, the shower block is a walk but we took our own bike so was not an issue at all, I would say a bike is a must if you dont want the 20 min round trip, showers and toilets very clean... the cabin had 2 fridge freezers and a chest freezer, microwave and a toaster, plenty of plug sockets also..

Yes but if your going with friends / Family be prepared to pull rods in for a social especially in the singles

General Comments:

Beautiful lake, very clean, very quiet and shops a very short drive away, Bruno is a great host and even let my nephews fish in his garden to try and get some fisH. Take a bike!!

We caught 6 fish from 16lb to 50lb - extremely hard weeks fishing due to the hot weather and lack of advice when we arrived

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities are ok, clean toilet and useful cabin with clean fridge and freezers. The main shower cabin was 10-15 min walk from swims, bikes where mentioned but on arrival we noticed the only bike was non functional - this was not good enough. *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. Bikes were previously available, but following the installation of the new toilet, owner Bruno made the decision to no longer offer them. Our website was updated immediately and an email update sent to all leadbookers on Seigneurie.

Were you happy with them?

No - Swims too far from showers and running water - carrying 10 litres of water to swim was extremely difficult. This was not acceptable for the price we paid.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

No - There was no walk round on the first day so we was not clear on best tactics and places to fish - this put us back by two days and contributed to the poor weeks fishing. Host only stopped for a few minutes a time and was mainly interested in us getting as much bait into the lake as possible. *Angling Lines note* We have discussed this with owner Bruno. He has confirmed that he was at the lake to meet your group upon arrival for a walk around and a chat as usual. He remained there until 12:30pm with three members of your party. Unfortunately, due to other commitments, he was unable to stay longer to wait for the remaining two members who were delayed due to van issues.

General Comments:

We was very let down by the host and how far the main facilities on the lake where from our swims. We was not aware there was a out of bounds fishing area on the lake were the majority of the carp seemed to congregate as its not fished. The host gave us no time and seemed to be more concerned about us buying bait and over baiting the lake when the fish clearly where not feeding in the heat *Angling Lines note* We apologise for not making you aware of the out of bounds area. Bruno has confirmed that there is a very small section that is restricted, and we have now updated our website to clearly reflect this.

I wouldn’t recommend the venue as the fishing was incredibly poor and I don’t feel we received a great deal of guidance from the owner. We didn’t receive any lake introduction / information until 24hrs after arrival. *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. We have discussed this with owner Bruno. General Comments:

The weather certainly played a part in the fishing conditions; however the lack of guidance was also very disappointing. One other negative point was a 10min walk each way to the shower facility/ drinking water. The bikes that were advertised were not available due to flat tyres. It wasn’t ideal to spend 30mins walking all the way around the lake twice a day *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. Lovely well kept lake. Bruno is a fantastic host who couldn't do enough for you and isn't in your face or mulling around watching you all the time. A very relaxed place and local town is only 2 min drive. Great trip by all
