Between us, we had 7 fish in total. 2 Grassies 58lb & 44lb, one 53lb Common, 31.9lb, 25lb & 19lb Mirror and 15.8 Common.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Using lake bait hard on the bottom (no pop ups/wafters etc). Due to the weather - cold nights warm days the fishing wasn’t predictable. Filling a spot in didn’t work for us and small amounts of bait accurately placed worked, as did random spots with a bait boat load of bait.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes. Clean WC. Good sized swim 13&14.

Were you happy with them?

Yes

Yes, if they didn’t want a runs water, we’re happy fishing a relatively small lake with the opportunity of catching a PB.

Yes - I have been using AL for a number of years.

General Comments:

We took the food package and felt it was good value and good quality. Bait was on the more expensive side but convenient and plentiful. Andy (owner) Rob (bailiff) were helpful and supportive.

Fished pegs 11/12 we caught plenty of fish upto 49.14 with a few pb’s

Used lake bait along with particles and pellet from the lake

Yes, already knew what to expect as this was our second visit

General Comments:

All round another great trip to an excellent run fishery. Andy, Rob and Bernie are great hosts.
We had the food, which is very good value and varied and can be changed to suit individuals.

General Comments:

Great week, Andy, Rob and Bernie are great hosts with plenty of laughs. Hard fishing, water was still cold, you need to find the spots and stick to them, LISTEN to Andy and Rob, they know the lake and are there to help.
