Souvenirs Facilities
The main facilities are located on the north bank and are well equipped for a comfortable stay. The shower and toilet block includes a powerful shower, wash basin, toilet, mirror and heater, with an additional separate toilet nearby, also fitted with a heater.
The north bank also features the social cabin, which benefits from a terraced outdoor eating area. Inside, anglers have access to:
- Charging stations
- Sink for pot washing
- Chest freezer
- Tall standing fridge freezer
- A further under-counter fridge
The opposite bank, woods bank, has a toilet and there is a plan to add additional shower facilities soon, but a date for this is still to be confirmed.
Because of the natural location of the lake, all power is provided by solar panels, with a back-up generator. There is no mains water supply and therefore, freshwater is delivered and stored for use. Although the water is clean and perfectly safe for showering etc, we advise you to bring your own bottled drinking water.
Shops and restaurants are an easy 20 minute drive away.
Additional Items to Hire
Gas Stove and hot plate - £20 each for the week (includes gas for the hob).
Charcoal BBQ - £10 for the week. Please note; charcoal is not provided.
Boats are available to hire (with a life jacket, which must be worn at all times). The cost is £70 per week for a rowing boat only, or £100 per week for a boat with motor/ battery.
