Souvenirs Rules

Arrival at the venue – after 1pm, not before please.

Departure from the venue – no later than 9am

  • Fish care is our top priority, you must use our nets, mats and slings as provided
  • Carp to be transferred in the weigh sling and not lifted out of the water in a net
  • All Carp over 40lb must be weighed and photographed in the water
  • Sacking of fish in winter may be possible but is at the discretion of the bailiff (Nov - March)
  • Anglers must provide a fish care kit and treat all hook holds/wounds
  • 3 rod limit per angler. No unattended rods (30m) under any circumstances for open water
  • If fishing to snags; rods must not be left unattended, you must stay on your peg
  • Only cast into your water, if in doubt talk to the bailiff in advance
  • Minimum 15lbs main line; mono and braid are allowed (not fluro)
  • Leaders are permitted
  • No fixed leads, the lead must be free to drop off in the event of a break
  • Micro barbed hooks only to be used, minimum size 4
  • No zigs or surface fishing under any circumstances
  • No pulling for a break under any circumstances
  • If snagged or weeded up, you must use the safety boat provided
  • Bait boats are allowed but must remain in your swim!
  • No use of drones, no inflatable boats. Rental boats are available (see facilities section on venue page for more info)
  • Life jackets must be worn whenever you are in your boat, no exceptions!
  • No natural baits allowed at all. No maggots, no worms, casters etc
  • Boilies can be shelf life or frozen. Plastic baits and pop-ups are allowed
  • Only particle and pellet supplied by the venue allowed. No tiger or other nuts allowed
  • BBQs must be off the ground in a secure container
  • Open fires only in the fire pits, subject to local weather conditions
  • *IMPORTANT* Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to dispose of your waste on site. Please bring plenty of garbage bags and take your rubbish away with you. Local bins are available for disposal - please feel free to ask the bailiff for further details. We are sorry for this inconvenience. Glass recycling only in black bin
  • Noise to be kept to a minimum to avoid disturbing other anglers and fish. Anti-social or abusive behaviour is not tolerated in any form
  • Vehicles must be left in designated parking zones only
  • No swimming in the lake
  • Dogs are allowed, but please notify us when booking
  • Any angler under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times when fishing
  • If you or a member of your party experiences any issues during your holiday, please report them immediately to the venue owner/bailiff and to Angling Lines. This allows us the opportunity to resolve the matter while you are still at the lake, in line with our holiday Terms & Conditions.

If you break the rules you will be asked to leave.
