General Comments:

Fantastic venue been here before filled with fish however the small catfish can be a nightmare My only recommendation would be to get rid of all the snags as there is far to many

General Comments:

Could be a great lake if the swims were upgraded and snags were taken out. We lost quite a few fish to snags. Frank was a great guy. I would not want to fish the venue alone with big fish and some steep swims. But in general we had a great time

Fished peg14 ,95 yards, big baited area all 3 rods on it. Had 15 fish in total from 20lb to north of 120lb.

All good it was hard fishing but that’s why it’s called fishing not catching

Only 1 sturgeon caught approx 25 kg and 1 large sturgeon lost approx 60 kg due to spawning in hot weather

Were the facilities what you expected?

Got on the lake expecting to get our vehicle up to our peg (11) as it was we were told that peg 11 was approx 400 yards and with only a wheel barrow available was not acceptable, I have arthritis in both my knees and the website specifically says that peg 11 was accessible by vehicle, Frank and a lady took about an hour to then tell us that other pegs were available, need to change info on website as we were not the only people having to possibly walk 400 yards

We sincerely apologise for the mix-up. We have checked with the owner & the toilet at Vaumigny does work.
