Very well run fishing lake, nice owners very helpful, good head of fish that fight very well.

Had a few fish, 14 fish, 4 fourties, 60plus sturgeon, couple of thirty something and rest smaller fish

Banks steep in places a little hard to land fish , could do with wooden platforms on swims make landing fish a lot easier

Fishing was hard this week but managed two small carp

Small baits, not alot of particles. Was told small hooks but we had alot of hookpulls!!

If you enjoy a challenge then this is the place you want but if you want a guaranteed catch then this isnt the place for you.

General Comments:

Food package was excellent, lovely lake but really hard fishing. John was very helpful and feel sorry for him cause he felt bad that we didnt catch. The lake has alot of potential and with some time and effort in making the swims better this lake could be something special. Unfortunately mark wasnt helpful, only saw him for 20mins on the first day with a breif tour then another 10mins to show us a rig he uses but proved to be no good.
