I landed 38 carp, largest was my PB 32lb common. My father landed 30 fish and his biggest was 28lb. plus we lost about 9 fish each. Definitely the best fishing trip we have ever had... the fishing really is explosive and the action never stopped. Already booked again for next year.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

me and my father used korda size 4 kurv shank barbless on 6 to 7 inch prologic hooklink and sum rubber tube to hold the hair on the shank for a better hook hold.me and my father found monster crab worked wonders we spreaded the bait over a wide area and then both fished 3 rods each on it,me and my father also found that topping your hook bait with a small bright pop up or plastic corn also worked great.

General Comments:

it was a great holiday sadly the pool was out of order at the time me and my family was there. but we will be back in july for the fishing action and the pool should be ready by then.the fishing lodge was great nice and close to the lake side. it had everything we need for a weeks stay.the electrics could do with a upgrade but i was not to bad cos only my mother and brother stayed in the lodge while me and my father fished from our bivvys. the french family at the lake are very nice, they are very helpful and give my mother and father a bottle of wine as a welcome gift and also give them another bottle of wine once the found out the pool was not up and running.it was a cracking holiday i would recommend this venue to all my friends thanks angling lines from the lukacs family

Details of your catches:

79 fish caught, 1392 Lbs total weight. Mostly Common/Mirror Carp between 15Lbs to 30.5Lbs. Around 6 tench up to 6.65Lbs.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Majority of fish under 30Lbs were caught towards shallow end of lake. Bigger catches were from middle of lake. All swims were productive.Found fruit based boilies, strawberry and Cranberry very effective, also fruit boilies tended to be ignored by crayfish.

General Comments:

Venue was excellent, owners were very welcoming and friendly. Excellent lake for young families especially. Everyone will catch fish here.

Details of your catches:

We caught 184 carp. 3 x 30lb (biggest 30.08 which was a common, with the other 2 being mirrors.) 96 x 20lb plus with another 11 fish just under 20lb. 107 mirrors and 77 commons. Total weight for us 5 was an arm wrenching 3,667lb. Thats over 1.6 tonnes.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

First... please take more landing nets than you think you need! I had 3 x 20's in 3 landing nets while the others were asleep!!! All the runs came in 10 mins. This was a common occurance so I would say 2 nets per swim. To be honest if you cast to the fish you would catch. We caught on every bait we put out. Plastic bottom baits ended up on all my rods so i didn't have to keep rebaiting!! (I had 49 carp for 976lb). We all fished along the lodge bank and found 60 meters out in the morning and within 40 meters of the far bank in the afternoon caught best. Most of the fish fell to the method which we boated or waded out in the pm. The trees on the lodge bank made most swims hard to cast any distance in but not a prob if you get into the water to cast. The weather was bad with rain and gale force winds that put so many branches in the water that we were getting wiped out all of one day. Madam Bouchot kept saying sorry for the weather but we were catching so many fish we hardly noticed.

Better. We all slept in the lodge. Shower was red hot and took the skin off your back!

General Comments:

2 of us caught over 1,300lb of carp each and it really wrecks your body... by the 3rd day we hurt all over, but we loved every second of it! We’re already planning our 3rd trip to Vincons next year and can’t wait to get back. To all at Angling Lines... love you!

Details of your catches:

I had a slow start with bites difficult to come by but upped the particle and quest special crab and by end of week had caught 15 lovely looking fish over 23lb with biggest 30lb 2oz and PB common of 26lb 14oz.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Critically balanced snowmans (20mm special crab with 16mm solar squid pop up) on short helicopter rigs at night with straight forward running rig and 20mm Tutti by day.

General Comments:

I won the week through the carp mag Carpology and won 10kg boilies, 10kg pellet and dips. Madame Alice Bouchot and her family (owners) are really special people and couldn't do enough to help always asking if I was ok and apologising for the slow start i had to the week!! Nicest looking fishery I have been to. Would love to go again.
