Danny - didn't really fish at night and had 69 fish..... 25 x 20lb'ers to 28.10lb and the others all between 16lb - 18lb. Peter - only really fished mornings and evenings and had 14 fish 7 over 20lbs and 1 x 33lb commmon.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Tigernuts!! These produced the quickest takes. I got fish from single hookbaits, PVA bags, fishing over 10kg of spod mix. All produced fish.

General Comments:

Fishing - The fish moved around alot! They wouldn't hang around for more than a few hours. If you can get to the middle of the lake then you could pick up fish more consistantly. Dont be affraid to move around the lake with a few rods and PVA bags when the fishing gets slow. Cottage - very happy. The walk to the lake was ok, but if you want to be close to the lake, go with the lodge.

General Comments:

Had an excellent time fishing. The pool was great, clean and tidy. The Bouchot family were most helpful, particularly Alice. We look forward to going again.

1x 30lb common, 13 twenties, 31 doubles. Special mention to our 9yr old daughter who had a 18lb'er!

Use halibut with PVA bags. Tiger nut, corn and snowman rigs worked well.

General Comments:

Fished couple of 24 hour sessions, caught at all times - no particular feeding patterns. Don't let the ducks see you bait up. Stalking - plenty of heads down tail up action in the shallows at dawn and disk. Thank you Bouchot family for a lovely time.

Stuart had 51 fish for the week, Matt had 45, rest of group has 20+ fish. Size caught ranged from 31.5lb common, 26lb mirror, lots of 20s.... lowest 13lb mirror

Boilies with method mix, bottom fishing with short links. Fished mostly in daytime.

Excellent cottage and used the bankside Lodge for tackle & beer.

Cottage lovely, venue stunning, owners there if you need them. Local town 4km away. Otters on lake - plenty of wildlife.
