Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, shower and toilet all ok and clean , loads of freezer space for 10 guys.

Were you happy with them?

Was really disappointed, that both of the boats on the lake were not usable full of holes.. which i feel as we paid alot of money for the lake should have been sorted.

**Angling Lines note** We apologise for this, having spoken to Sebastien the owner, he is now making arrangements to have them removed. Anglers are welcome to bring their own inflatable boat and bait boats.

Yes. Very good Julie and the office were brilliant nothing was to much trouble and when your trying to sort 10 guys for a holiday ....things change all the time.

General Comments:

Negatives, No one met us at the lake as advertised, Bait that was pre ordered turned up 3 days late and not on arrival ,as advertised, Boats Knackered :( which gave me a very bad case of Spodders forearm.:)
Positives, Fish,Fish and more Fish and access to drive around to swims , Fire pits were great and supermarket 5 mins away for beer !!!!

Details of your catches:

An excellent week. In total we caught 88 fish. Robin in swim 7 was top rod with 35 fish. 16 Mirrors (largest 34.12lb), 15 Commons (26.10lb), 2 Grass Carp (22.4lb) and 2 Sturgeons (41lb). Dave in swim 11 caught 23 fish. 10 Mirrors (38lb), 10 Commons (31.8lb) and 3 Grass Carp (23lb). I was in swim 2 with 20 fish. 9 Mirrors (32.8lb), 3 Commons (21.7lb), 7 Grass Carp (16lb) and 1 Sturgeon (33.2lb). Ken in swim 10 caught 10 fish. 5 Mirrors (28lb), 3 Commons (26lb), 1 Grass Carp (17lb) and 1 Sturgeon (38lb).

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We use Starbaits and Catcher bait boilies. We started out fishing small pva bags of boilies to likely spots. Once we had started catching from these spots we put out beds of maize, pellet and boilies.

General Comments:

The fish are in excellent condition and fought extremely hard. A great venue. We will return!

Details of your catches:

32lbs mirror,29lbs common,36lbs sturgeon (lovely fish.) Plus many 20lbs to 30lbs carp, make sure you have a good weigh sling & big landing mat. All the carp fight hard in & out of water!

Cell worked & mainline essential IB, caught most of fish over pellets & maize.

General Comments:

Hook into catty twice, smashed me up both times this monster is awesome. Just could not do anything to control it with carp rod and end tackle, had a great week on this lake.

Could of caught more & bigger but I will return.
