Between 11 of us we caught 115 fish. Biggest carp was 40.05lb, one other 40lb, 7 x 30lb. Also, 3 x 40lb sturgeon, lots of 20's and grassies

We all mainly fished over big beds of boilies with most grassies coming to particles.

The facilities were definitely acceptable but the toilets were a little small.

General Comments:

Good week had by all. A beautiful lake with plenty of fish. Swims were nice and big. Bailiffs were very friendly and spoke good english. Will be an amazing lake in a few years when the fish are a little bigger.

Details of your catches:

Common Carp x 12 from 10lbs to 33lbs 10oz. Leather Carp x 5 from 23lbs to 30lbs 12oz. Sturgeon x 2 from 33lbs to 40lbs 12oz. Silvers Bream of 5lbs 4oz.

Use hooks with bait and line. ib corn and cell.

General Comments:

Largest carp was 33lb 10oz common.

Sturgeon 40lb,Commons 15 - 32lb, Leathers19 - 31lb,Grass 18lb, plus Silvers. most catches in the small hours. Caught some with signs of spawning.

Single boilie sometimes with a popup corn or small snowman.

better than! having seen the earlier comments we were prepared for a small loo however, cant remember seeing that the shower/washroom is a 'wet-room' so plenty of space for a decent clean.(just need to arrange your privacy)!

General Comments:

Lovely owners (helpfull, friendly and full of advice). Look-out for the cleaning lady, just the same but cannot speak a word of english and threw-out anything less than 1/3 full (soap, shampoo etc). Some huge pegs, take every bit of kit you can for those. There are few fishing supplies at intermarche (some boilies, groundbait and bits) if a last minuet or 'disaster' should need sorting (turn right from lake and about 7 mins drive).

Good weather, facilities basic but good. Great place, really enjoyed our short week. Good fighting fish.
