Single boilie sometimes with a popup corn or small snowman.

Were the facilities what you expected?

better than! having seen the earlier comments we were prepared for a small loo however, cant remember seeing that the shower/washroom is a 'wet-room' so plenty of space for a decent clean.(just need to arrange your privacy)!

General Comments:

Lovely owners (helpfull, friendly and full of advice). Look-out for the cleaning lady, just the same but cannot speak a word of english and threw-out anything less than 1/3 full (soap, shampoo etc). Some huge pegs, take every bit of kit you can for those. There are few fishing supplies at intermarche (some boilies, groundbait and bits) if a last minuet or 'disaster' should need sorting (turn right from lake and about 7 mins drive).

General Comments:

Good weather, facilities basic but good. Great place, really enjoyed our short week. Good fighting fish.

65+ fish between us. Biggest 41lb 4oz, 7 x 30lb+ fish, 2 x 35lb sturgeon, 40 x 20lb+ fish.

Particles - heavy baiting. 60-80kg particle, 30kg boilie.

Yes. Heavy rain swims extremely muddy/dangerous.

Details of your catches:

Swim 8, double swim. Approx 30 carp, mostly common, the remainder mirror carp. Average weight 25lb, highest weight 31lb. Also 15 bream. All carp fight hard!

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing boilies over particle. Snowman rigs. Most caught late evening and early hours.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes. Washing/shower/toilet facilities fine. Fridge + freezer to keep bait and food fresh. Lake large, good swims.

Were you happy with them?

Yes in general. The wet weather made the swims very muddy. Water levels were high making the landing of fish tricky.

Yes. Nice venue, could well develop into a big fish water in coming years.
