Details of your catches:
I caught 3x30lb sturgeon and 26carp with 3 mirrors being of 33lb 4oz, 32lb 4oz, 32lb 7oz and a common of 30lb 1oz, with the rest being a mixture of commons and mirrors, mostly in the upper twenties.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
I was using a mixture of Quality baits HG42 and HG47 in 18mils. I moved on 4 occasions during the week to keep up with the roaming fish. In total I got through over 25kilo of boilies, with no particle or pellet used. Most of the fish came off bottom baits with a few off bright yellow pop ups.
Were the facilities what you expected?
The shower facilities are excellent with hot water anytime of day or night along with a cold water tap to top up your water containers.
Were you happy with them?
Yes.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes as this certainly is a water that it is possible to have a large weekly catch of over 30+ carp when the weather conditions are right.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes
General Comments:
Since my last visit in the summer of 2011, the banks have matured and the swims are great with adequate room for at least 10 of them to be classed as doulble swims. This venue will be a top big fish water in the future as all the fish are big framed and just waiting to bang on the weight. Can I just say well done to Jim Kelly as he had 40 fish by midday on Friday, a brilliant result and excellent fishing.

Details of your catches:
658lb of fish caught. 5 x Sturgeons to 36lb, Carp - 5 x 30's to 35lb, 12 x 20's and 2 x doubles.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Started the week with far too much particle and pellet. Then had some great advice from Paul Cooper and Jim Kelly on bait selection. We changed to HG42 and HG47 from Quality Baits and that's when we really did well. Thanks for the tips guys, it really paid off. Fantastic bait.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Fairly basic facilities of Shower and Toilet, but what I expected from a "drive and survive" weeks fishing
Were you happy with them?
Yes
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes, a beautiful lake, that has some stunning fish. Sebastian, the Lake owner comes round daily, but leaves you alone. We like this.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes
General Comments:
While we were fishing, we had 3 of the Angling Lines field testers there. They gave us great advice and tips on catching fish. We eventually moved swims on Paul and Jims advice and it was the best thing we did. Thanks again guys.

Good Drive and survive facilities with hot shower and running water and electric power point
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes certainly

General Comments:
Blue Lake has matured quickly since my first visit last summer. The large double swims are now grass covered and fish numbers increased substantially following the winter stocking. The facilities are good and immaculately clean

Details of your catches:
We had 32 fish including 6 30's and a lot of high 20's
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
The fish came to just bags at the start but then we had to start putting in patches of bait
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes the shower was nice and hot
Were you happy with them?
Yes
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes I would be interested in going again for sure
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes very professional
General Comments:
Was pleased with the trip and would use angling lines again only thing I would like would be the option of fishing Friday to Monday as a week was a bit long for me as well as inconvenient with work
