All together we had around 40 fish. Weights being from 20lb to 60lb.
1x60lb, 2x55lb, 1x46lb, 2x44lb, 41lb, 2x40lb, many 30's and 20's.

Wafters over lots of bait.

Plenty of fridge freezers, washing area large. Only comment would be toilet and shower could be bigger.

General Comments:

Great Lake, had its issues in the past but seems to be fishing well

Our second visit to Blue lake didn't disappoint we opted for peg 6 with 2 other anglers opting for peg 10. We landed 35 fish and lost 10. Most bites came at night, picking the odd 1 up through the day as temperatures hit 30c most days

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Bottom baits and pop ups, crayfish were very active, so I would reset the rods every 4 hours, most of the time the bait was gone.

Basic but all you need could do with updating, plenty of freezer space and fridge.

General Comments:

Overall lake needs some TLC. There were broken beer bottles in 3 pegs and hundreds of cigarette buts as well. We did mention this to the owner on arrival but it was still there when we left.
